Anti – adhesion absorbable sterile gel
Anti-commissural absorbable gel is designed to prevent post-operative commissural formation on tissues and internals with serous cover (abdominal cavity, tendon sheath, joints, pleural cavity, pericardial cavity, spinal marrow and cerebrum capsules, tympanic cavity). It acts as a temporary barrier between damaged defective serous surfaces. The device provides an effective tissue separation during the healing and finally completely absorbs. Reduction in surface and tissue adhesion improves their mobility and prevents commissural formation. Gel is totally removed from the human body upon its action termination.
Gel application on healthy tissues results in hydrophilic layer formation (for example, in case of intestinal eventration) and reduces tissue exsiccation. Anti-commissural gel is neither panto-toxic nor allergenic and free of local irritant action.
Gel effectiveness increases in blood and exudation. Moreover gel neither acts as a nutrient medium for microorganism nor encapsulates.

Absorption period:
Complete absorption in 2 to 6 days
Indications:
Operations on organs with serous coating. Gel may be applied both in open and endoscopic surgeries (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, orthroscopy).
